Abstract: Train number is an important basic information for Centralized Traffic Control System to realize dispatching, train running tracking, automatic time collection, automatic arrangement of routes, wireless route announcement and wireless dispatching commands, which shall be timely and accurate. Based on research on train number technique for CTC, this paper analyzes the display of train number, the setting of train number window, the source and priority of train number, the data structure and data flow of train number, and the working principle of train number, and puts forward a proposal for optimizing the priority of train number, which solves the problem of cross-office turn-back and train number tracking among different equipment suppliers, effectively avoids the error of train number tracking and improves the accuracy of train number tracking.
