This paper proposes a diagnosis method based on the combination of Improved Butterfly Optimization Algorithm (IBA) and Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN): on the basis of analyzing the typical failure modes and characteristics of the turnout control circuit, the IBOA algorithm is combined with the PNN algorithm, and then the unique parameter smoothing factor of the PNN is optimized by improving the strength index coefficient of the IBOA algorithm; finally, the IBOA-PNN algorithm combined with the collected turnout circuit fault data is used to diagnose the fault. The simulation results show that the algorithm in this paper has low computational complexity and high accuracy, and has a good application prospect in the field of rail transit turnout control circuit fault diagnosis

From the application point of view, this paper takes Jinan Station as an example to study the problem of splitting a plan for a complex hub station with one station and multiple yards. Software is developed for designing a general table for technical operations. A solution is provided to automatically split the train plans and shunting plans of the center station into plans for each yard based on plans for train operation adjustment and operation restrictions, etc. It introduces in detail the principle, the design thinking and the process to fulfill the function of formulating and splitting station plans, which solves the problem that CTC functions cannot be performed or deployed for complex hub stations

This article introduces the basic principles and signal characteristics of ZPW-2000 track circuits for national railway signal systems in China, the signal transmission paths and working environment of the track circuits, and the significance to safety of analyzing track circuit signals. An effective method for analyzing such signals is introduced, which is used to calculate instantaneous frequency deviation through time-domain zero-crossing detection. Information on the carrier frequency of the track circuits is determined according to the instantaneous frequency deviation and the given information on the carrier frequency. At the same time, low frequency information is obtained regarding only the upper and lower limits of the frequency deviation of the track circuits, and then low frequency information is obtained through the frequency domain Zoom-FFT. This method can not only meet the requirements for low-cost CPU performance, but also perform decoding in a stable way in the case of signal amplitude changes caused by locomotive or traction currents

It focuses on the current domestic test status, simulation test process, simulation test items and methods. Since there is no unified test form and specific test method for TCC test of each acceptance unit at present, combined with the experience of many software tests in field work, this paper discusses the specific test method of train control software acceptance, for providing certain reference for the test work of field test personnel.

In order to reduce the time and labor needed by the manual parsing of data on train control maintenance and troubleshooting, Train Control Maintenance Parsing Tool is developed as an aid that helps maintenance staff find the problems of devices more quickly. This tool automatically matches the contents of the protocols with the maintenance data packets sent by the train control center to the maintenance machine to identify and locate device faults quickly. This paper focuses on the research and applications of Train Control Maintenance Parsing Tool.

Radio message timeout is one of the factors causing the degradation of CTCS-3, and it is also an important index to assess the operation and maintenance ability of GSM-R systems of operation units. This paper introduces and analyzes a typical case of radio message timeout caused by poor downlink channel quality that is solved by TA value positioning, and introduces the analysis steps and methods of fault positioning and fault handling through the typical case, for providing certain reference to improve the ability of operation and maintenance technicians.

The requirements for intelligent train control systems of the new generation of high-speed railways make the train-ground communication data richer and more diverse than before, and there are requirements for safer and more reliable data transmission and for lower delays. The original train control communication system based on GSM cannot meet the new requirements, so it is necessary to develop a new generation of train control communication system based on 5G technology. In this paper, a 5G-R communication system is studied, a new onboard radio based on embedded system is designed, and the structure, composition and interface of ground network system are proposed. The protocol encapsulation/de-encapsulation and the interface transmission process of service data in the whole train-ground transmission process are analyzed in detail, and the adaptability of the new generation of train control communication system to meet the requirements of future train-ground communication is expounded, which lays a communication foundation for intelligent train control for high-speed railways.

This paper studies and discusses the networking schemes of stations, depots and workshops, and proposes different networking schemes and service management modes for different types of services. At the same time, it analyes the equipment management, network management, service cutover, and service protection methods after networking, and introduces the division of the management tasks of different departments in detail. Based on GPON and PTN technologies, different service intercommunication schemes are respectively proposed and real-time traffic monitoring can be realized for each service.

This paper starts by introducing problems with various monitoring information on railway trolleys, and then studies centralized management of railway trolley monitoring information, reasonable statistics of data, linkage of multiple systems and multiple data, and application of data analysis and mining technology. This paper aims to explore the use of 5G technology that has achieved breakthroughs in core technologies and products to make it possible to apply autonomous driving in freight stations. It introduces in detail the construction plan, specific technical standards and applications of the 5G-based network system for the application of autonomous driving in freight stations. Through the introduction and analysis of the construction plan of this 5G-based network system, it can be demonstrated that the system is an effective autonomous driving system that ensures the safety of freight transportation and is worthy of extensive application in railway systems nationwide.

The technologies for dynamic optimization function of metro fleet composition include physical coupling/decoupling technologies and virtual coupling/decoupling technologies. This paper focuses on the study on physical coupling/decoupling technologies, providing a relevant signaling system solution. Based on the analysis of the operation requirements, this paper presents the target of physical coupling and decoupling functions, and introduces the coupling and decoupling processes. Meanwhile, it also discusses the methods for realizing such key technologies as coupling speed control, train interface, location report transmission mechanism, and the switchover of the leading end of a newly coupled train, taking into consideration the CBTC features for interoperability.

An AFC system directly serves the vast number of passengers, and its operation status is directly related to the level of operation safety and services. Intelligent operation and maintenance is of great significance to the system. Firstly, this paper analyzes the connotation of the intelligent operation and maintenance of AFC systems, analyzes the problems existing in the operation and maintenance of the current AFC system, and points out the necessity and urgency of the intelligent operation and maintenance of AFC systems.Then, the functions of the service scenario of intelligent operation and maintenance are analyzed, and the design scheme of an AFC intelligent operation and maintenance system is given from two aspects: the design of system architecture and of service architecture.Finally, this paper puts forward suggestions on the application and implementation of the intelligent operation and maintenance system from two aspects: network standards, and operation and maintenance ideas.The AFC intelligent operation and maintenance system can effectively improve the level of operation and management and reduce their costs, which are the inevitable results of intelligent management.

Train occupancy detection in main line turnout areas is always the key point of an operation control system of modern trams. Nowadays, the detection of vehicle occupancy in turnout areas through trackside controllers is performed by axle counters, beacons, and loops and so on. However, under some abnormal conditions, such as shaft leakage, failure to read beacon information, and disturbance in the loop line and so on, the efficiency of train operation is affected. In order to solve this problem, ITCM-100 intelligent track circuit adopts resonant track circuit to indicate the real-time status of occupancy more directly and improve the safety of interlocking in turnout areas. This equipment has been used in the practical tram project and its safety, reliability and maintainability have been tested, so it can be widely adopted in other tramcar projects.

In the fully automatic operation system, the depot is configured with the same equipment as that of the signal equipment station of the mainline, so as to realize the ATP/ATO function and ATS monitoring function at CBTC level in the automatic control area of the depot; the test track is equipped with indoor and outdoor signal equipment which is the same as that of the mainline, so as to perform tests on functions related to the fully automatic operation of on-board signal equipment. Based on the signal composition and functional requirements of the depot and test track of the automatic operation system, this paper proposes a scheme to extend the control range of the indoor signal equipment in the depot to the test track, and the indoor signal equipment in the depot can fulfill the commissioning and test functions and monitor the outdoor signal equipment of the test track. The framework and design principle are emphasized.

Balise is an important part of train control system. It can provide a large amount of both fixed information and variable information to on-board equipment. The application quality of balise directly determines driving safety and transportation efficiency. In order to solve the problem of balise information loss in neutral zone, this paper summarizes the characteristics of balise installation mode, analyzes the impact of the installation mode on the transmission performance of balise through a case study of the loss of information of fixed balise, and focuses on the impact of installation angle deviation and installation height on such transmission performance. In this paper, it is suggested to optimize the construction process standards, and optimize the installation mode by reducing the inclination angle and raising the installation height of balise within the permitted range, so as to optimize the working environment of balise, improve its application quality and ensure driving safety.

This paper quotes the definition of a double-line track circuit diagram, introduces its seven design steps in detail, and analyses these following points carefully: the selection of the locations of switch machines, the requirement that AC track circuits meet the condition of polar transposition, the principles of arranging the feeding ends and receiving ends, and the plans for setting the cut-off points of choke transformers. It provides a reference scheme and suggestions for the designers of double-line track circuit diagram.
