Abstract: This paper introduces the fault treatment and maintenance methods of railway signal cable. With the increase of service life of signal cable of Shuohuang Railway, some cable joint boxes have poor connection process in the construction of large and medium-sized modification, and the cable itself has quality problems. Due to the long-term existence of hidden dangers to the cable during construction, sudden cable core grounding, core breaking and mixed line faults have occurred for many times, which are difficult to find. The paper summarizes some experiences from the fault judgement, search steps of signal cable and the way to find the cable by borrowing current, and puts forward the thinking and preventive measures for daily maintenance of signal cable, which can be used for reference.

摘要： 介绍铁路信号电缆故障处理及维护方法。朔黄铁路信号电缆使用年限的增长，大中修改造施工出现一些电缆接头盒接续工艺不良，电缆本身存在质量问题，施工中对电缆造成的隐患由于长期存在，突发性的电缆芯线接地、断芯及混线故障多次发生且不易查找。从信号电缆的故障判断、查找步骤及如何采用借电流的方法查找电缆，总结一些经验，提出对信号电缆日常维护的思考及预防措施，具有很好的借鉴作用。
