Through the analysis of current business situation and business processes of locomotive depot, based on the technical concept of information interlocking and the integration of management and control, this paper proposes an integrated operation scheme of locomotive depot, which constructs a unified operation management and control platform, realizes fine planning, automatic operation and intelligent safety protection, so as to improve the operation efficiency of locomotive depot and speed up the locomotive turnover.

Balise transmission module (BTM) is an important component unit of ATP equipment of CTCS-2/3 train control onboard system. The normal operation of BTM has a direct impact on the application of ATP. The design concept of BTM intelligent detection system shall be researched, and it also shall to study how to use more convenient testing methods to implement the testing of BTM down link transmitting signal center frequency, down link transmitting signal energy, uplink signal frequency deviation and uplink signal Iu1, so as to judge whether the BTM is working in a sub-health state. Meanwhile, a large amount of detection data is accumulated to provide a basis for the subsequent BTM performance trend analysis and fault prediction by using big data technology.

Starting from the actual situation of Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua high-speed railway which will adopt point heating equipment, this paper analyzes the problem of large power consumption existing in the traditional RD1 electric point heating system, thus innovatively adopts the dispatching-based scheme of intelligent point heating system, and introduces in detail the structure, intelligent control algorithm and intelligent control effect of intelligent point heating system. Finally, the conclusion that the dispatching-based intelligent point heating system proposed in this paper can greatly save electric energy compared with the traditional point heating system is obtained.

During daily maintenance, the main and standby channels of transmitting Ethernet aggregation services such as infrared ray, traction and electric power on Tang-Bao line have been completely interrupted for several times, and there is no troubleshooting, locating and recovery method available on the user side. It requires to locate the fault point by transmission network and data network, which has high professional requirements for maintenance personnel, complicated operation of network administrator, long troubleshooting time and wide impact range, and endangers the normal application of railway train operation and exists great hidden safety risks. This paper discusses that by optimizing the networking structure of the transmitting Ethernet aggregation service, the main and standby channels of the transmitting Ethernet aggregation service can be prevented from totally interrupted, the number of faults and the impact range can be reduced, the fault location can be quickly located in the event of a fault and the network administrator can easy to operate. Thus, the security and reliability of the railway transmitting Ethernet aggregation service can be effectively improved.

The wide application of STP-yh system effectively ensures the on-site safety of shunting operation. However, with the increase of service life year by year, the pressures of operation and maintenance are becoming increasingly prominent. By analyzing the electromagnetic wave transmission loss of each component of wireless channel of STP-yh system, using the typical Hata-Okumura model curve method, combining with the specific situation in the actual maintenance, the main factors of wireless signal interruption are summarized, which provides theoretical guidance and maintenance technical requirements for the on-site equipment management department in the fault handling of wireless signal interruption.

Long distance ad hoc network communication technology can be adopted to realize train-train communication for heavy-haul train. Based on TDMA principle, this paper establishes models aiming at the probability of frequent-point resource collision between one-hop nodes in ad hoc network, and puts forward the calculation method for air interface collision probability of heavy-haul railway MESH ad hoc network communication node. Through the key parameter setting, the system collision probability between one-hop nodes can be calculated, and by using Monte Carlo method, the statistical simulation verification in MATLAB will be performed, which have guiding significance to system design and engineering design optimization.

Due to the high speed of a train, AC27.5 kV power supply scheme is often used in suburban railways. In the shield area, signaling cables, overhead contact lines and other strong electric cables are relatively close due to the limited laying space. Dangerous influence on signaling cables and their protective measures must be considered in the project implementation stage. Strong and weak grounding round steel or flat steel is considered to be installed on the cable supports on both sides of the tunnel wall respectively, which is equivalent to the combined through grounding cable in national railway. Based on the cable layout of overhead contact line and signaling cable in the shield area, this paper introduces preliminary calculation of the magnitude of the magnetic induction electromotive force generated by the signaling cable of electro-magnetic induction of overhead contact line when the train is operating at the highest density on basis of the design of power supply system, and gives quantitative analysis of the maximum allowable cable length considering the magnetic induction electromotive force of not more than 60 V on the signaling cable in the electromagnetic environment.Combined with the current various technical conditions and relevant test data analysis results, a protection measure and scheme for the use of double-ended or multi-point grounding for signaling cables in the AC power traction of suburban railways are proposed.

The “Belt and Road Initiative” has put forward the requirements for China’s railways to ensure the transport efficiency and service quality. Kunming east railway station, as the main station for marshalling operations of Kunming bureau group corporation, has a relatively tight marshalling capacity and cannot guarantee the transport efficiency of freight transportation. Based on the smart management and control system (SAM system), this paper proposes the operation optimization measures of constructing the interstation coordination and mutual protection framework and the early warning mechanism of traffic flow. The proposed optimization measures can further improve the transport efficiency, ensure the service quality and improve the marshaling efficiency of Kunming east railway station.

As the information exchange and storage center, the equipment room is the nerve center of railway transportation system. This paper summarizes and analyzes the common safety hazards in the railway station and depot, points out that power supply safety is the basis of the operation of the equipment room information network system and fire safety is the bottom line of safety production. In view of the connecting iron fracture at the connection between the installation device of switch machine and switch rail, the fault cause is analyzed and studied by the method of field test combined with finite element simulation. Through three-dimensional modeling and finite element modal analysis of turnout and switch machine installation device, the results show that the first order modal of turnout and switch machine installation device system is close to the measured response frequency of stock rail on repulsion side. Combined with the modal analysis results and the actual test results, it is concluded that the resonance of switch machine installation device caused by the vibration response of turnout repulsion rail is the main reason for connecting iron fracture. Maintenance suggestions are given according to the fault cause: for ballasted track bed, the turnout traction point shall be maintained regularly to ensure the support stiffness of the track at the traction point and avoid local resonance of turnout system.
